The workout Christopher, listed on the back of the shirt, was created to honor the memory of Officer Christopher Betts. This workout, like Christopher, is tough and will never be forgotten.
Officer Christopher Betts was struck by several vehicles and killed while he and another officer struggled with a suspect on the side of I-285, near Camp Creek Parkway, at approximately 1:00 am on December 22, 2002.
Christopher was a U.S. Army veteran and had served with the East Point Police Department for two years. Christopher was working overtime on his last shift before he, his wife, and newborn son were to return to Ohio for their first Christmas with Christopher’s family.
The proceeds from this shirt will be donated to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. NLEOMF is a non profit organization and is good star rated for its transparency. The memorial, located in Washington DC, features two, 304′ long walls with the names of over 23,000 officers like Christopher engraved in it. Your donations will help ensure that these officers sacrifices are never forgotten.
